Heritage

At RPL Classic Cars, everything starts with a dream : yours, and ours. We bring antique vehicles back to life so collectors can feel that spark again: nostalgia, pride, emotion, all fused into a machine with a soul.
Every car we restore is treated like a story, one meant to be reborn and driven. Safe, authentic, precise, our work is driven by passion, because we believe wholeheartedly that “We make your dream come true, because it’s ours too.”
Our vision is to create a place where vintage legends rise again and dreams take the driver’s seat. A destination where you find the classic that speaks to your heart, restore it to reflect your story, and take the road with the feeling of fulfillment only history can give.
We aim to unite enthusiasts and keep automotive heritage alive for generations to follow.
About us
There are passions that transcend time.
Ours carries the scent of warm oil, worn leather, and hand-shaped steel. For nearly ten years, Marie-Christine St-Jean and Charles Padia have moved forward side by side, in life and in business, driven by a shared love for antique cars.
Long before they had a storefront, everything began in their garage. One project at a time. One car to rescue. One story waiting to be brought back to life. Buy, restore, sell… and begin again, always guided by an obsession with detail, a deep respect for craftsmanship, and that unmistakable spark in their eyes when an engine roars back to life.
Then, in February 2024, silence. An electrical fire tore through their garage. The cars. The tools. The countless hours of work. The projects in progress. A piece of their dreams. But not their passion. Because some flames don’t go out. They transform.
Just months later, in the heart of the village of La Patrie, an abandoned former body shop crossed their path. Where others saw worn walls and dust, they saw a new beginning. For nearly a year, they rolled up their sleeves. Rebuilt. Hammered. Painted. Restored. Breathed life back into a space that had been forgotten.
From those ashes, RPL Classic Cars was born. A place shaped by perseverance. By a love for automotive heritage. By the belief that a dream deserves to be preserved, restored, and carried forward.
Here, every car has a soul. And every project becomes personal. Because when you entrust us with your dream… it becomes ours too.

Our Team
Marie-Christine St-Jean
Director of Sales and Administration
Have you ever met someone who hunts for classic cars the way others search for lost treasure?
At RPL Classic Cars, that person exists : Marie-Christine St-Jean.
For over 20 years, she has guided, advised, reassured and above all… listened.
Because here, it’s never just about buying or selling a car.
It’s about a story. A memory. A dream taking shape.
Marie-Christine understands that an antique vehicle is never just a machine. Sometimes it’s a life project. Sometimes an heirloom. Sometimes the fulfillment of a passion that has been waiting for years.
She doesn’t simply look for a model.
She searches for the right car for the right person.
The one that makes your heart beat a little faster when you open the garage door.
The one that turns every drive into a cherished moment.
The one you’ll be proud to pass down one day.
Whether you’re searching for that rare gem, closing one chapter to begin another, or simply wanting to be guided by someone who truly understands what you’re feeling… Marie-Christine is there.
She searches with passion. She finds with precision.
And most importantly, she places the keys to a dream into the right hands.
Charles Padia
Director of Operations
Have you met our metal craftsman, our problem-solving expert: Charles Padia?
The one who, at RPL Classic Cars, doesn’t simply restore vehicles… he transforms dreams into pride on four wheels.
Since childhood, he has taken the world apart to understand it better. No toy ever stayed the way it came out of the box. Before he was even a teenager, he was dismantling motorcycles just to see how they breathed on the inside. It wasn’t a hobby. It was already a way of being. Observe. Analyze. Rebuild. Improve.
What began as curiosity became passion. And passion, over the years, became his life’s work. More than twenty years spent learning what books can’t teach. Fabricating parts that no longer exist. Welding what others would have discarded. Restoring dignity to tired mechanics and bodywork marked by time. He sees potential where others see the end.
But what truly sets him apart isn’t only the precision of his hands or the strength of his restorations. It’s his presence. His honesty. The steadiness of his word. Charles doesn’t promise the impossible. He tells the truth. He guides. He explains. He treats every project as if it were his own. He helps you make the right decisions before the first piece is ever removed. And from the first bolt loosened to the moment the engine comes back to life, he’s there. Transparent. Thorough. Human.
His goal isn’t just for the car to look beautiful. He wants it to be reliable. Safe. Driven with pride. Because in the end, he isn’t just restoring a car. He’s taking part in a dream. A dream that begins with the simple turn of a key.
Charles isn’t just a craftsman. He’s the one who breathes life back into stories… and allows others to write their own, mile after mile.

TESTIMONIALS
I discovered RPL Classic Cars while passing through La Patrie, and from my very first visit, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the garage, the professionalism of the place, and the warm welcome from Charles and Marie-Christine. You immediately feel that you’re dealing with true enthusiasts.
It’s rare to find a garage that is willing to work on classic cars with such seriousness and patience. Charles inspected my vehicles thoroughly, clearly explained the work that needed to be done, the parts required, and the costs involved, always with transparency.
They have already worked on my 1987 Jaguar XJ-SC, my 1996 Jaguar VDP, and they are currently restoring my 1973 Mercedes 450 SLC. Each time, I received professional, honest, and genuinely human service.
I feel fortunate to have found such skilled and passionate people at RPL. Thank you, Marie-Christine and Charles!
Carl Mercier - Collector
I was truly surprised when I discovered the inventory at RPL Classic Cars. It’s rare to come across such a carefully curated selection, and it immediately reflects the passion behind the business. Having someone like Marie-Christine who connects collectors the way she does is a real gift to the classic car community in Quebec.
